About:China Visa

Under 18 dual passport(indonesia and USA)

Dear all,
My children are under 18 with indonesian passport follow with mother(Indonesian citizen),and holding Usa passport just renewed(no stamp),father is chinese citizen,how they can apply chinese visa in china,or in indonesia.

Hi, your children can apply for a Chinese visa from the CVASC in Indonesia. They need to provide passport and the copy, the application form attached with a passport-style photo, an invitation letter from their father and copies of his Chinese ID card, as well as the relationship certificate. Next, submit the application to the CVASC to apply for a Q type to stay in China.

Thanks, but we tried Q type that need all documents issued in state must authorities in secretary in state firuse china visa,but we are live in china here as tourist L in indonesian passport, the thing is I need to use they USA passport. Issuef in guangzhou. How can use this new USA PASSPORT for china entry permit.

It's possible for your children to convert the current tourist L type into Q type at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB within China. First prepare the relevant materials including passport, the application form, passport-style photo, valid registration form of temporary residence, an invitation letter from the father and copy of his Chinese ID card, and their birth certificates. Next, go to the exit and entry administration of the local PSB to submit the application to change the L type to family Q type.
You can contact the local PSB to confirm that and inquire the detailed information from the consular officers before you do that.
