Jiuzhaigou Valley: will be closed in the mid of Oct?

Hi, I'm travelling with my boyfriend to Jiuzhaigou next Oct 16th and actually only now I discover that potentially the valley will be closed. This badly affects my trip in China, where I have already paid for everything. Could you please confirm me that the Jiuzhaigou valley will be closed in the mid of October?
