seat choices

Question

When booking train tickets (Beijing to Shanghai), we are not provided seat choices (no matter what class of seats)... can the seats be changed during or after pick up of tickets at the station?  Thank you.

Well, there is no seat choices as the seats are assigned randomly by the railway authority. The seats are assigned at the time of ticket issuing. You will know the seat number once they are booked well. It cannot be changed once assigned by system
