About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do I need a china visa if I will enter in shanghai china in less than 24 hrs.

I am from Philippines, then I will board on ship.

If your travel route is like country A-Shanghai (24 hours)-country B, you can make use of the 24 hour direct transit. No need to apply for a transit G type then.
