Can my employer cancel my Z type

I've got a working Z type that was done by my employer, I'm an English teacher; I'm thinking about finding another job before my contract finishes. Can my employer cancel my working type without my consent if I leave them?

Yes, in fact they are supposed to inform the government when you stop work. Your visa is then only valid for another 2 weeks and you'll have to leave the country. However many smaller companies don't bother doing this.
