Tracking problem

I bought something through the ioffer website and the seller gave me a tracking number and he said it takes 2-3 days until the package process from the post office and update the tracking info in their system I wanna know how that works? i just check the tracking and it says pending!!!

If your package has arrived its destination country and pending customs inspection, you need to contact the local custom and find the problem.

He shipped it 3 days ago but still I cannot track the packet to see where is it at.
