Changing the visa

Hi,I am Era currently residing in China under Z. I want to quit my job with my school,cancel my residence permit and change my Z to student X. Can anyone explain me the steps?

Ergashoy, you can try to convert your current work Z type to a student X type at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB within China.
The first step is to prepare your passport and its copy, the application form, a passport-style photo, valid registration form of temporary residence, admission letter and JW form from the school as well as the physical examination record. Then, submit the application to the local PSB.
