About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Flying to from BKK to PKK. Have to change planes in Shenzen

I am flying from BKK to Beijing, and have to change planes in Shenzen en route. Would like to layover a day in Beijing before flying to US. Will only be in China for less than 72 hours. Is that ok for the 72 hour free transit?

You cannot transit in Shenzhen unless you have a Chinese visa in your passport already. You must either apply for a visa or change your itinerary.
