About:Kunming Airport

Visa question passing thru Kunming Airport

We are planning to come with China Eastern from Laos to KMG and continue to Beijing. In Beijing we will use the 72 hrs Visa for overnight.
Do you know if the baggage can be checked thru to Beijing ?
Do we have to pass thru immigration in the airport ?

Sorry to tell you that you can’t use the 72 hours free transit in Beijing, since it’s only available when you leave from a third place, but you are from KM. So you have to apply for a visa in advance.
