Mobile hotspot

Dear all, is it possible to rent a mobile WiFi hotspot together with a SIM in order to collect to this device nr 2 or more smartphone? I'm thinking a local company with this service...

Thank you so much in advance.

Dario

Yes, I know China Mobile has the WLAN service, with which you can use the WIFI at at most three devices. Hope your phone accepts their SIM card. If so, go to the Service Office of China Mobile in a city and get the service. Their WIFI network can be identified through CMCC-WEB, CMCC, CMCC-EDU, and CMCC-XXX by the way.

Thank you so much Rina!

I'd like to underline better our situation....sorry but my English is not so good...
We would like to have data service on our smartphone and tablet (3 in total) during our 3 week trip to China and I think the best way to do that is to get a "wireless-hotspot-device" including local SIM. My idea is that this way 3 devices (smartphones and tablet) will be connected to "wireless-hotspot-device" by WiFi and "wireless-hotspot-device" will be connected to the network by local SIM. How difficult would it be to rent a "hotspot device with data service" while in Beijing?

Thanks a lot.

Ciao.

Dario

There is a company (3g solutions) that will rent me a wireless hotspot with 7.5 gb for $130 for 3 weeks.( which seems somewhat reasonable). Would that be a better option?
