Seat number required?

Referring to "Documents needed" it says "Passengers should hold an onward ticket with a confirmed seat". Does this mean the seat number has to be on the ticket? Unless I pre-pay to select a seat this is not normally on any tickets I get. Thanks for any clarification.

You do not have to have a seat number as long as you paid for your ticket. A paid ticket is also known as having a confirmed seat on the flight. Some people have standby tickets that are issued for free to airline staff and their family members which are not accepted by immigration.
