About:Stone Forest

How to go from kunming railway station to stone forest?

We're arriving there by train (from Chengdu) and have a whole day before we're leaving by train for Dali.

Do we have time to visit the forest, and which way is the fastest/cheapest/easiest way to get there?

Don’t worry, you have enough time to pay a visit.
First, you need to take a taxi to East Bus Station, from where you can take the bus to Shilin. The bus is available from 7:30 to 20:10, and it takes CNY25 and about 23 minutes.
After getting there, you can take bus 5 to your destination.

Yes, you can also take bus C73 or 60 to Dongbu Gongjiao Shuniu, which takes about 30 minutes and CNY 5/2.
