About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

SCL-PEK with a short Thailand holiday in betweem

Greetings, I have tickets from 01-16 October for Beijing and I have a single entry visa.
During the 10-14 I would like to go to Thailand and arrive 14th to PEK.
Can I apply for a 72 hr free transit and leave the 16th?
Will they let me board the plane in Thailand even though I have a single entry?
Thanks

Hi, if you will fly to a third country or region rather than Thailand after transiting in Beijing, you can enjoy the 72 hr free transit then. You can board the plane in Thailand. Don't worry!

When you board the flight in Thailand, you need to present your tickets and valid passport, and inform the airlines that you want to use the 72 hour free transit in PEK. After arriving at Beijing airport, you can go to the transit counter to apply for the free transit.
