Is there a shuttle bus from Guangzhou airport to Guangzhou South Train Station?

I arrive at the airport on a Tuesday in November at 12:30 and want to pick up pre-ordered tickets at the train station for a train leaving at 4pm. Is it possible to get the train on time or is it better to stay overnight and get a train the next morning. I don't speak Chinese. How much does the shuttle bus cost? Is it quicker to get the metro? Thanks

There is no shuttle bus heading for the South Station. Instead, you can take subway line 3 at airport to Jiahewanggang and change to line 2 to get there. It costs CNY9 per person.

Ur time can be ok for catching the train art 4:00pm. It may take 30-60min to check out after landing, and the journey by metro takes 70min to South Station. Then line up to collect the ticket and go on the train. The signages in airport, subway stations and railway station are all marked both in Chinese and English. It won't be very hard to navigate.

Many thanks you for your very clear information! I'm still a little nervous about getting to the station in time but will discuss it with my travelling buddies.
