About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

DTW-PEK, PEK-NRT-DTW - Would this be eligible for the 72-hour free transit?

I will travel from DTW to PEK direct on Friday December 1 2017. On Tuesday December 5 2017, I will fly from PEK to NRT to DTW on the way home. Only a 90minute connection in NRT on the way home.

You'll stay 4 days in PEK, that's 96h.
Way more as the allowed 72h.
