I do believe you can't bring onboard on transfer flight. Just last month, my sister purchase liquors from changi airport Singapore. It was fully sealed as what duty-shop do. She was stop at security check point in Beijing and was told not allowed to bring onboard while doing transfer flight to Changchun.
So the answer allow, is it the latest regularation.
If wrong information then lots of passengers will get a surprise.

I transferred today at Beijing Airport coming from EU and wanted to continue on a domestic flight. All wine bottles were properly sealed in a bag with recite by the duty free shop (I even asked if this would be sufficient because I have a transfer. Answer was yes....), however, all 4 bottles were confiscated due to security reasons by Beijing security officials.
