what part of the great wall is recommend to see in winter from shanhaiguan?

I will be on my way to Beijing. i want to break the trip in Shanhaiguan, I will be there early morning in February. I want to leave my luggage at the station and make day trip to the Great wall, walk few kilometers and come back to the same station, board fast train to Beijing. Which part you recommend Jiumenkou or Laolongtou? Maybe i can do both or some other suggestion?

You are recommended to visit Laolongtou Great Wall because it's more convenient and the scenery is better. You could take bus no.25 at the Shanhaiguan Train Station and get off at Laolongtou Station. The bus drive takes about 40 minutes.
