About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

PHIL PASSPORT TRAVELING TO US

Hi, I have a Philippine passport traveling to the US with 3hrs layover in PVG (Pudong Intl airport). Do I need to apply for a China visa?

You don’t need it because you are eligible for the 24 hour direct transit in Shanghai if you travel like that. Nice trip!
