About:Chinese Consulate in Los Angeles

Need to renew my expired Chinese passport but my greencard is also expired, will there be a problem?

I am a permanent resident in the USA, born in Hong Kong, in the process of renewing my Green Card, but I also need to renew my Chinese passport for travel. Will the Hong Kong (China) government give me any trouble because my Green Card is expired? My Hong Kong ID I have as a child is also expired.

Don’t worry. It won’t affect the renewal of your passport.
