About:Xiamen Cruise

Boat to Kinmen from Xiamen

Is it possible for 2 independent travellers from abroad (the Netherlands) to go by boat to Kinmen?
From Kinmen we want to fly to Taipei. Is this allowed?

If yes, is it neccesary to book the boat ahead (we will travel in november).

It's allowed to fly to Taipei from Kinmen. And you don't need the visa of Taiwan since your country is visa waiver program country.
You could just go to the Wutong Wharf of Xiamen and buy boat ticket when you leave. There's no need to book in advance.

I'm afraid not. Only Wutong Wharf have boats to Kinmen directly.
