About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Transit programme

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am travelling on 2 Dec from Madrid to Beijing (passing through Hong Kong one hour). I will spend less than 72 hours in Beijing, I am flying back to Hong Kong on Dec 6, where I am spending 4 days.
I am wondering If I can apply for the Beijing 72-hour free Transit programme.
Thanks in advance.
Juan

No you cannot, because Hong Kong-Beijing-Hong Kong isn't a transit.

Thanks Leo for your quick reply. Technically you are right but the truth is that my flight is from Madrid to Beijing, in Hong Kong I am not leaving the transit zone and I am spending only 55 minutes. Anyway, in order to avoid problems, I will ask for my visa.
