how many days for shangri-la?

Hi I will come from Tiger Leaping Gorge on public bus and I believe it departs at 3pm. Next day I will have only 1 full day to go to Songzanlin Monastery, old town and maybe Lake Napa. Do I need another full day or is 1 full day enough? I depart on last day back to Kunming on flight. In summary I have 3N in Lijiang and 2N in Shangri-La or should I do 2N in Lijiang and 3N in Shangri-la? Please advise!

Hey there, 3N in Lijiang and 2N in Shangri-la are doable. And a full day in Songzanlin Monastery and old town can be enough. May you have a good trip!

Hi Angela, I was thinking if I should do 3N in Shangrila instead though it is hard for me to try to reduce LIjiang but travelling all the way to Shangrila and just having a full day there seems really short so I am really in a dilemma.

Oh, I understand. Both places are worthy, so if you wish to stay a bit longer at Shangrila, it can be fine.
