About:Chinese Embassy in Portugal

Can I mail my application and passport to Lisbon Chinese Embassy?

I am a USA citizen traveling in Portugal and need my Chinese Visa, can I mail my passport and application to the embassy in Lisbon and pick it up in person, or do I need to be present when I submit my application>?

Clare, I'm afraid the mailed application is not accepted by the embassy, but you can find someone else to do that on your behalf if you cannot go there in person.
