About:China Tourist Visa

Hi,am trying to understand what does the official stamp named above stand for?

If a chinese citizens write me an invitation letter with all the information as above...., does the letter needs to be stamp at the immigration or elsewhere in china?

The official stamp named above stands for the stamp on the invitation letter of a duly authorized unit.
If a Chinese citizen writes a personal invitation letter to you, it doesn’t need to be stamped by the immigration or other department.
