About:China Transit Visa

Separate tickets - Check-in bags

I have Pakistani passport. I booked 2 separate tickets. One with Thai from Bangkok to Shanghai Pudong and other with Air Canada same day in 8 hours from Shanghai Pudong to Vancouver. Can I request 24 hour permit to check-in my bags and sight-see during 8 hours or do i need to apply type G type ?

Asad, you are not eligible for the 24 hour direct transit, and you need to apply for a transit G type for that.

No. Pakistani passport holders cannot get it.
