About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

72 hour tranist beijing

Can I enjoy the 72 hour visa transit in Beijing, if I buy 2 separate tickets? for example, New York -BJ and then BJ - Thailand with 2 different airlines? or does it have to be one ticket that shows a connection in BJ to be able to use the free transit? I would like to fly Air China New York- BJ and after staying 2 days in BJ, fly Air Asia to Phuket. Thank you very much!

Raluca, you will qualify for the 72 hour free transit in Beijing, and your 2 separate tickets won't affect that. Don't worry!
