Can i ship Bird's Nest to China as gift?

Im planing to ship Bird's Nest for my friend as a gift probably around 0.5kg/1kg. What are the requirements to ship bird nest?

Hi, fresh or dried bird's nest are forbidden to be shipped or brought into China. Only canned bird's nest are allowed in China. There's no specific requirements on shipping canned bird's nest into China.
