About:Apply for China Visa in a Third Country

Uk citizen trying to teach in China

Can a UK citizen in Canada on a tourist visa apply for a z type while in Canada? If this is not possible or cant be done in time would it also be possible get a tourist L type for China and once there apply for the z type in Hong Kong?

Amy, you can have a try. It is possible.
If it can’t be done, you can apply for a tourist L type and then enter China to convert the L type to Z type. Or go back to UK to apply for a work Z type in the first place.
