About:Shanghai - Hong Kong Train

Shanghai - HK throughway ride

It says that one may get on and off along the shanghai - hk route. If I were to book the deluxe soft sleeper for my family, how would i get on and off? Could I just decide on the train? Or would we have to plan our stops beforehand? Thank you.

Oh, I think you misunderstand the rule. You could get off at any stop stations for a while, but you need to get back before it starts again. If you missed, you need to buy a new ticket for next one to go on with your trip.

no, for this HK trip, you cannot get off at the halfway! You can only get off at the final destination, Shanghai or HK.
