About:Shanghai Maglev Train

Is it possible to reach Badaling at 5am, see around and be back in Beijing by 9am?

I am in Beijing for 2 days. My days would be spent in meetings for work. But I want to utilize the trip to visit the Great Wall. I wonder if early in the day before office hours or after work at 6pm is an option to visit the wall?

Badaling scenic area opens at around 07:00 and closes at around 18:00, it is no need to get there early in the morning before office hours as there is nothing to see around the site. Moreover, it takes about more than one hour to transfer from the Great Wall back to downtown and it is not safe to drive after dark, so we normally get back from the site at around 16:00 in the afternoon.
