Shanghai Railway Location Question

Hi,

I bought a ticket to Nanjing. There is a Hongqiao and a Nanjing South. What is the difference in location between Hongqiao and SH Station. What is the difference in location between Nanjing South and Nanjing.

You should know there is more than one train stations in both cities. Ur train will depart from Hongqiao Station in west of the city and end at Nanjing South Station. They operate the most high speed trains of each city. While SH Station and NJ Station are the main stations, which are considered to operate more normal trains.
