About:Tipping in China

What amount is expected in a tip for the bus driver? Also, how much on the Yangtze River cruise?

Hi, Diane. Generally, CNY20-50 can be proper. If you are very satisfied with the service, you can even tip him/her more.

John’s answer is incorrect! 50 RMB is quite a lot as a tip. I would suggest 10-20.
