About:Marriage Registration in China

Register of marriage in Singapore, need to do it in China?

Hi, i am a Singaporean lady, if my hub (shanghainese) and I get our marriage cert in Singapore, do we still need to register again in Shanghai?

You can just attest your marriage certificate at the embassy of China in Singapore, and then go to your husband’s hometown to change his marital status at the marriage registration office. In this case, your marriage will be recognized by China.
