You can take a direct bus from CD Bus Terminal to the scenic spot. It departs at 08:30 and the ticket fare is CNY88/person for a single trip.
As for the return route, you may ask the local hotel to help you book the bus back to Chengdu. In addition, you can also head for Xiaojin County first, and then you can take a direct bus from Xiaojin Bus Station.
