About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Still working out details, help please!

We are planning a 3-4 day stay, however we are still looking into hotels and exactly how many days we will stay. That being said, we do not have our full itinerary organized, but want to apply for a visa immediately to allow for enough time. Will this be an issue, or do I need to have flights and hotel booked prior to applying for entry permit?

Unless using a travel agency or having a sponsor in China who can provide you an invitation letter, you'll need confirmed tickets plus hotel booking for your entire stay in China. Of course if you are utilizing the visa-free transit program you are exempted from applying for a visa.
