About:Yinchuan Hedong Airport

TAXI COSTS AND FORBIDEN CITY VIIT TIMINGS

I'm arriving into PEK Airport 11:50 on 13th August and will probably take a taxi to PEK Capital Hotel which I believe is easy walking distance from Tian'amen Square.

How much would I expect to pay one way taxi fare ?
Would I be able to get onto a 'half day' Forbidden City tour the same afternoon and if so where could I join one ?

It takes about an hour and costs around CNY100 to take taxi from PEK Capital International Airport to Tiananmen Square. You may either visit the Forbidden City on your own by renting an Audio Guide Machine or contact the travel company to arrange a half day trip for you.

By the way, it is suggested that you book the entrance tickets of Forbidden City online in advance as there are limited tickets available on the spot and they are always sold out in the morning.
