About:China Customs Declaration

Maximum amount of US dollars to bring into China

I know there is a limit of $5000 US dollars that can be brought undeclared into China. But is there a way to legally bring more (say $40,000) cash? Please don't get into the foolishness of carrying cash.....

Hi, you could bring the cash to China with declaration to China customs.
