You need to submit both the original and copy of your education certificate and the original will be given back to you after the application. You need to get the certificate attested by the embassy of China.
First step is to get the certificate notarized by the local notary public and the ministry of foreign affairs of Singapore. Next, go to the embassy of China to get it attested.
