About:China Transit Visa

I will be traveling from Cebu-PVG on China Eastern

Layover 5 Hours in PVG
PVG-SFO on United

Do I need to apply for visa? Or could I just use the 24 hour direct transit to get my bags and checkin for the USA flight? Would be so much easier if PVG just had a transfer desk, can you confirm this?

DP, you don’t need to apply for it because you can make use of the 24 hour direct transit. It is easy to complete the transfer process by following the direction signs when arriving at the airport.
