No Criminal record certificate have any expiration status ?

Hi,
I have got my "No criminal Record certificate" in 2016 october but last year due to the visa changes i did not apply for Z type. now, i am set to go for that! do they show any concern about the certificate because it was issued in beijing! last year!. but i reside in china i have n't go out yet!. besides, do i have to apply for the same certificate once again?
