About:Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport

I booked on CZ to Guanzong arriving 6:55am and connecting flight yo Yanji same day on 16:40.

what should I do ? Do I claim the baggage , I need a place to rest while waiting for next flight and the transit process

Yes, you need to claim the baggage. You may have a rest at the chairs in the waiting hall, or go to the Hourly Lounges on B1 Floor to sleep. It should be noted that the lounges seem to be only provided for passengers with business class and first class tickets.
