How do I get from Foshan to Beijing Rd, Guangzhou by metro? Is it safe?

I'm planning to go to Beijing Rd. Alone from Foshan Crowne Plaza Hotel.

You could walk 360m to Zumiao Station and take Metro Guangfo Line to Xilang Station. Then take the Metro line 1 to Gongyuanqian. Then leave from exit E and walk east for 5min or so to reach the Beijing Road.
