About:Lucky Number 8

Lucky 8 gift ideas?

Are there any traditional Chinese gifts that include the number 8? My anniversary with my boyfriend happens to be 08.08.08 and when I try to Google anything related to "lucky 8" I get gambling websites or Chinese restaurants :(

Hi, Fiona. First of all, happy 9th anniversary! Your anniversary is the same day as the opening of 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. You could choose a present related to this date, like the cute mascots of that Olympic, or other souvenirs! They are five animals representing China and they are very lovely. Also you can buy something inscribed with the date. That would be meaningful and romantic as well.
