About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

question about Direct Transit

I will have a connection from Paris to Sydney (and back from SYD to CDG) I will spend 12h in PVG and 20h in CTU. My nationality is Costa Rican but I study in France and have a temporary permit to live here while I study. If I understand correctly I can do this without any VISA, right? Can I leave the airport to see the city for a couple of hours?

Hi, you can enjoy 24 hour direct transit in both directions. No need to worry! But you need to apply for a free temporary stay permit at the immigration office when you arrive at the airport. Afterwards, you can leave the airport to explore the city.
