About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

VISA Free process to take the train

Hello

I am about to take a boat from Japan to Shanghai and would like to go to Hong Kong by train.
Will the 144-hours Free or the 72-hour free transit work for that or do I require a proper chinese visa even if I will just jump in a train ?

Jay, you can enjoy free transit in mainland China. No visa is required for that.
