availability of wheelchair pushers in China
We are traveling to China in October
We have a private guide and private tours throughout. This is a luxury tour.
I am taking a small folding wheelchair IN CASE my husband finds the walking too strenuous. He is able to walk, but long distances can be a problem
The tour operator has suggested that we hire a wheelchair pusher IN ADVANCE. The cost is about $80 a day.
I have been told that at every major tourist site wheelchair pushers are plentiful and that they charge around $10 an hour at most.
Do we really need to hire someone in advance? There are probably sites where I won't need a pusher. I can push the wheelchair as well.
Thanks for your advice.
