If you go to China for tourism purpose, you need to book a tour from a travel agency first and then apply for a group tourist L type. The required documents include a notification letter from an authorized Chinese travel agency, passport and copy of its data page, the application form, an introduction letter from the travel agency, and your residence permit in Oman, as well as other materials the consular officers consider necessary.
