Is there any Train from Xining to Qinghai Lake or Close to the lake?

Sorry to tell you no train is available. You are suggested to take a long distance bus from Bayilu Bus Station to Erlangjian Scenic Area (one of the scenic spots of the lake). There are nine buses from 7:30 to 16:00 a day, and it takes CNY37/40 and about 2 hours 30 minutes. Notice the bus may be fewer in winter days, you’d better check in advance.1
