Can i bring canned fish with me into China?

Generally canned meat are not allowed to be brought to China, but my friend once put canned fish in his checked luggage and passed the secuirity check. So I suggest you bring some in your checked luggage and declare them to the customs in advance in case they got confiscated by the customs.
