Is going to Mutianyu Great Wall by bus recommendable?

We're leaving from Beijing Main Railway Station and want to go to the Mutianyu section of the wall. We don't speak Chinese, is it still manageable by bus?

Our alternative would be getting a Taxi Driver for a Day that takes us there, but Public Transport would be way cheaper, so I want to weigh the Pro's and Con's of both options.
Thank you in advance!

You can take the public bus to the destination. You can take metro line 2 to Qianmen Station, Exit C. Then you may walk around 30 meters southwards to Qianmen Tourist Distribution Centre, where you can take a direct bus to Mutianyu Great Wall. This bus departs at 9:00. The ticket fare is CNY100/person including the entrance fee of the Great Wall and the guide on the bus. If you cannot catch the bus at that time, you are advised to charter a car to the scenic spot directly, since you may need to have several transfers to take the regular buses. It may probably take around CNY800 to charter a car for a round trip.

Thank you very much! Is it possible to get a ticket for this bus in advanced? I'm scared, that the bus is full if we buy the ticket before the ride.

As I know, you need to buy this ticket when you get on the bus. Therefore, you may get there as early as you can.
